Colour


Colour is by far one of the most important aspects to consider, from both a fashion and future proof perspective. We all want to see our homes stand the test of time without ageing or dating unduly.  With this in mind Phoenix Aluminium offers a standard powdercoat range of 40 colours with a D1010 Powdercoat warranty; an industry first in New Zealand.

Exceeding 300 colours, there is also a Specialty Colour range available. Whilst specific colour matches can be produced, in some instances the costs of these powders makes them economically unviable.  Anodising is another alternative that is extremely popular in the residential, architectural and commercial sectors.

Our aluminium joinery is factory pre-finished in long-lasting electrostatically applied Interpon D1010 powder coatings. A combination of painstaking preparation, careful workmanship and the latest technology have come together in our powder coated windows and doors. Powder coating is one of the most durable colour coatings available and with very little effort on your part will provide many years of excellent service.

The Interpon D1010 Warranty is a 10 year warranty applied to the Film and Colour Integrity of your Powder coated aluminium joinery. There are a wide range of powder coated colours available; however the D1010 warranty can only be applied on the top 40 most popular colours as shown below. These coatings can be used for Residential and Commercial projects and are also suitable for use in coastal environments. Further warranties are available dependent on colour choice and the specific environmental conditions and performance requirements.
