Typical Configurations

Selecting the format of the Windows & Doors for your home is probably the most important task you will undertake, as this will impact on all other design aspects, such as room layout (whether the area is user friendly or not), internal and external flow and general aesthetics.

All windows and doors are viewed from the outside.

Hinged and French Doors

Can be either open in or open out in format and can have fixed lights or sashes at each end. Front entry units are normally opened IN whereas all other units in standard residential homes are primarily opened OUT to give the best drainage and weathering properties.
